cant play back comp discs on xbox one

on the preview scheme (which I want to know how to get off it keeps screwing my system) and since the November update cant play dvds or back comp disc

system resets, offline updates, tinkering with settings nothing works I WANT this resolved or whats the point of preview if you cant fix what you screw up

Can't play dvd's or back comp discs

Can't play dvd's or back comp disc on my xbox one. There are no error messages no werring no clicks it's as if there's no response from the drive but xbox one discs work ok

Backwards compatibility and downloading xbox 360 games to xbox one in south africa

My Microsoft, actual and xbox regions match and I am still unable to download, buy or play xbox back compat games, cant even download games with gold back comp games.

There's actually not any update in preview, so all preview machines have the same build as the public release.

That said, the previews will be starting up soon, and you can't exit until the end of a wave, so you'll want to opt out soon.

You can opt out through the Xbox Insider Hub. Under your devices, change your current console to opt out and it should take effect within a few days; if you wait until the next preview wave begins, you will not be able to leave until after it ends and will
receive all of that wave's updates.

As for the issues you're having -- what happens when you insert discs? Do Xbox One discs work okay and it's only DVDs and Xbox 360 discs that throw up errors? Let us know some details and someone will be able to assist you.

Thanks for the preview bit and yes xbox one OK just dvd's and 360 discs. Nothing happens it's as if the disc drive doesn't respond no Werring no clicks nothing

Right now there is no more back comp games coming to Xbox One. After Project Scarlet releases though, who knows what Microsoft will do with the back comp program.
