Can't play Ark on PC

My game has an update and can't download it because there isn't enough space. I have 3 drives, it could be on any one of them, yet it won't say which it's on. I feel like the download corrupted as there is still around 80GB which it is trying to download
even though I was playing it about a week ago and it was working fine. In that time the only new content which has come out was the genesis update which I do not believe to be 80GB. On further inspection Ark does not appear in my installed games. Furthermore
it doesn't appear in the ready to install either despite the 'Scorched Earth' DLC allowing me to install from the ready to install page.

I can see from viewing the start menu it takes up 94GB space in total which sounds about right but it won't tell me where so I can't make space. I could delete ark and see which drive suddenly has an extra 100gb free but i'd rather not as it takes a while
to download that much data.

Did you downloaded the game via Microsoft Store or XBox beta App?

I didn't found a way of checking where a game is installed (and that is bad, in the future can cause me a problem too).

But in case you did it by default, and you installed the game through Xbox Beta with Gamepass, maybe you have an option (but not 100% fiable).

You can try to install a new game and check where its trying to install, as Xbox Beta app retains the last Hard Drive path you tried to install a game. In case that Ark was your last game installed or you install usually in the same place, bingo.

In case that isn't true, then your best bet will be or uninstalling Ark, or make space on all hard drives.

Hi,

In regards to finding out where a Windows 10 game is installed (this applies to Game Pass too) please do the following:

Click Start > Settings

Select Apps

Find your game in the Apps and features list.

As I don't have Ark installed, I've used Forza 7 as an Example. If you click the
Move button a box will show what drive it is installed on. My game here is installed on another drive on my PC called E:\

You can use this to move your Windows 10 Store and Game Pass games to other drives if you want to free up space.

No it hasn't because I still can't play on my boyfriend server with him on my laptop when it states ark can Cross platform with PC computer, I have a PC laptop, a gaming laptop

there will be some in the game itself somewhere (sorry I can't be more specific as I don't play Ark) Also check the Xbox Accessories app, or whatever it's called on PC.
