Can't play anything online

I have live membership and have been charged every month but I can't use any of the Xbox live features. I have called 3 times and still nothing. The last guy said he could not hold the line and that the connectivity and network department was not picking
up and that I should call back later. I tried the chat and was never connected to someone! What kind of customer service is this that after multiple attempts you can't help your customer? I have been charged for the past few months and I think it's poor service
that you take your customers money but they can't user what they pay for. Please fix my problem! I want to be able to pay Halo! I have unplugged the power source and waited 10 minutes to see if that would help And it didn't. I tried taking my info off the
Xbox and re entering it and that didn't help. I don't want to continue paying for a service I can't use!

Xbox online but can't do anything online (can't play anything or join parties) SOLVED

The past week I've been trying to solve an issue of Being online (xbox says it's all good and I'm connected and me not being able to use any games or apps or even sign into my account). I have since SOLVED the issue. My first issue was my NAT type said Unavailable.
So we tried a hard restart on the xbox as well as a router reboot. That didnt work at all. Next we tried clearing cache and a restart and that did nothing. After being transferred around to different supports we figured it was an internet/router issue after
they reset stuff odn their end also. So i let them go and after 3 hours of xbox support help and a night of rest later I thought "Why not just reset console to default?" Then after I thought that I remembered the day before this happened I had an xbox update
that I let update and I went to bed. What I believe happened was the update didn' update correctly resulting in an update error. I discovered that to be true when I looked at the update section Settings>system>updates>latest console update status and found
the latest update was still in progress and last time It tried to update was a week ago. So I tried to update and it sat in a loading screen that would last a year. After a Console Reset it fixed it all. To do a Console Reset go to Settings>System>Console
Info>Reset Console.

I chose to keep all my games and apps and upon the reset it connected me to my WiFi asked for a password asked for my account password and did the latest update that it didn't do successfully the first time and now I am online and good to go! Thank you for

What Router do you use? Do you get a Error Message if you try to connect?
