    Can't play ANY Xbox One Games w/ Gold Games


    Hello, so I have Xbox Live Gold but it won't let me play the Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2. I was able to play it for a couple of days but now when I try to play the game it says I need an active subscription which I have until May of 2020. I've tried
    everything from unplugging the xbox to re-installing the game. What should I do? Also, this has been going on since last night.

    Hey there!

    Sorry to hear you have been running into this issue when attempting to launch your games. Do you have any other games that you have downloaded through games with gold that you can test out? Give it a try and see if you are seeing this error message with
    all games with gold or just Plants vs Zombies.

    If you are seeing the same error message through all games with gold then I would advise that you check your

    Order History     and your
    Subscriptions     to make sure that the subscription is active. If the subscription is showing that it has expired or that there was an issue with the payment then I would consider
    Contacting Xbox Support so that they can provide further assistance.

    I'm having this problem with my Xbox one. My problem is I have gold (can't redeem any codes because it claims I already have gold) and can't play Netflix or any games online because it claims I don't have gold

    If the game is for the Xbox One then you can't play it without Gold.

    In order to play games for the Xbox One from Games with Gold you'll need an active Xbox Gold subscription, however you don't need one to play games for the Xbox 360 that you have from the program.
