Can't play ANY Xbox 360 games on my XBox One X

I cannot play any xbox 360 backwards compatible games on my Xbox one x as I have to "Download Xbox Live Profile" but when I attempt to do that and enter my email ******@******.airforce it gives me a error to enter a valid email address... But it is a valid
email address.... Just seems to me like Microsoft hasn't gotten with the modern times and only allows on the 360 emails that are .com, .net, .org, .biz and other 3 character extensions... Need to update it to allow the hundreds of new domain extensions
over 3 letters.

Well just make a .com Email and see if that solves the issue and if it does I hope I helped.

I also have the same issue. But whenever it said to Download my profile i put my info in and it diddnt work.

As the Xbox 360 has been superseded there is no plan for updating it's capability to accept what was then a non-standard email extension. I hope you understand. Actually Xbox 360 games are converted to run on Xbox One systems!

To summarize the many replies go to your Xbox account and ADD an account that you created via Microsoft via Microsoft create email address. That will end in hotmail.com or outlook.com (unfortunately not live.com anymore). With that you can access all of
your games. Unfortunately you will have a different profile, so the progress will be separately accounted for.
