Can't play any online games, connected to xbox live though.

Welp, the support person couldn't help me out via chat so she gave me the number to call someone about connectivity problems so I will do that when I get back to my hotel room later this evening.

I think that not many people use the alternate MAC address so there probably aren't a lot of people reporting the issue.

I think someone with the firmware update doesn't work with the alternate MAC address. Hopefully me talking to support and stuff with escalate the problem.

Great! I can't play my digital games!!

Sat in a party with my mate clearly connected to xbox live yet I can't play any games because "I'm not online" right laugh

 

Xbox Live subscription is not connecting.

My Xbox live Subscription is not connection and i have checked my Internet connection 5 different times now and it's connected but for some reason Xbox live does not want to work. My Netflix and Hulu subscriptions are both working but no luck with my Xbox
live. Is the console going bad cause I can't play any games online either even though the internet is connected. getting frustrated here.

I'm having the same issue has anyone figured it out yet?

 

I've tried everything guess the only way is to get the *** out of this hotel.

No luck last night...

I was going back and forth with @XboxSupport on Twitter and wasn't getting anywhere so I called Xbox's support line. The first person I talked to said they were aware of issues which gave me some hope that they might be working on a fix. He went to connect
me to the connectivity team and the call disconnected. I called back and got transferred to the connectivity team and the guy I talked to on that team had no clue that this problem existed. He proceeded to try to troubleshoot the problem for OVER AN HOUR!!

Everything he tried wouldn't work (I knew it wouldn't because I tried most of it myself) and he was confused as *** as to why this was happening. He couldn't understand why I could use internet/XBL based apps like YouTube and IE but I couldn't connect to
game servers. Well he started a work ticket for the problem and transferred me to the hardware team because he came to the conclusion that it was probably the update that messed something up (which is what I told him from the beginning). He said that if hardware
can't figure it out than they would do an advanced exchange with my Xbox and send me one to use while mine is being looked out.

Well I was on hold for the hardware team for over an hour and it was getting late so I just hung up... I have the ticket number and I will be calling back when I get off work later tonight so they can try to figure this out. Although by the time they do,
I probably won't be in a hotel anymore.

I can use all of the third party apps, but can't access the Xbox Store, Xbox Music, etc. or play multiplayer games. Had the problem for three nights now.....

 

Connecting via ethernet fixes this issue, not sure why it's not working over WiFi. It worked fine for the last week.

 

Same Problem Here siince 2 days. No online Gaming, no Videos on. Xboxvideo , and with Updates for Games often. Disconnects .... Plus kinect doesnt log me in via. Camera , sometimes its asking me which Profile. I am ? Disconnect me. From the. Stores
sometimes ....

Like 70 % from everything is Not. Working .

 

Hey guys, it seems that the microsoft guys don't understand whats the issue, i will try to make a video showing the problem and maybe if some of you speak with a technical support guy you can show this to him.

Its been almost a week and i connect to the multiplayer services from any game, i hope they solve this issue soon

Nothing yet. I'm going to call back tonight with my ticket number to see if I can get them to pay attention to this problem. It's obviously something with the new update that's not jiving well with using an alternate MAC address and they need to address
it. I know that there aren't many people out there that have to use this method, but it still needs fixed.
