Can't play any games!

Everytime I go to play a game it returns to home and an error message comes up saying it took too long to load. This has been happening since Sunday and I have no idea what's causing it. Strangely I can get onto Terraria but the leaderboards don't work and
when I try to load a world the same thing happens.

can't play Mahjong or any game. I get " failed to create DirectX device". What does that mean and how can I fix this?

Hi ! Since yesterday my games stop at the begining of the loading screen and it becomes a black screen .

Once in a 10 try ... the code was 0x800706ab ...but it don't show anymore ...just black screen .

Games tried over and over was Destiny 2 , Assassin's creed syndicate and South park TFBW

What can i do??

Have you already tried to perform a
powercycle ? You can do this by holding down the powerbutton on your console for
approx. 10 seconds untill it turns off.

This will clear the cache and most likely fix the issue of the games not loading.

Alternatively you can also make your console go to energy saving mode instead of
Instant on. Putting it in the energy saving mode will clear the cache everytime you turn it off. This option however disables the ability to use the Xbox on command to start your Xbox. Also this will make the Xbox take a little longer to boot
up (in total about 45 seconds).

Here's how you can put your console in energy saving mode:

1. Press the Home button
2. Press the Menu button (right from the home button),and select
   Settings
3. From here you can select Power & startup
4. By clicking on Power mode you can select Energy saving from the dropdown menu
   

By putting on energy saving you don't have to worry about manually performing a powercycle but it all comes down to personal preference
