    Can't play any games online


    Every time I try to play online multiplayer on any online game my Xbox one won't connect to the servers. I just recently upgraded my internet and it still won't connect. I tested the multiplayer connection and it says its all good. The internet strength
    has a strong connection. I can still log in my Xbox live account with no problem.

    Can't Play any game

    can't play Mahjong or any game. I get " failed to create DirectX device". What does that mean and how can I fix this?

    That might be a profile problem , try this and see if it helps ...go into settings and remove all the profiles , (make sure you have the email and password to get them back ) after you remove the profiles , shut the xbox down by holding the xbox logo on
    the console for 8 seconds till it powers down , while it is off , unplug your modem and router for 30 seconds to clear them also , plug the modem and router back up and when they are online , turn the xbox back on , when it is all the way up . re add your
    main profile ...it may sit there and sync a little while but all SHOULD be good afterwards ...

    I've changed my internet completely, from a new internet provider and all.

    How can I check the firewall? Through the router's control panel?
    Is UPnP activated?

    Also make sure the teredo protokoll is deactivated

    Did you do a physical modem swap, or just to the service. When upgrading it can mess with the fire wall settings , showing an open nat type but not letting information pass and actully being able to play online.i would check the fire wall setting on the
    modem and any other things that you may be connected to

    You may want to try clearing the MAC address too. To do that just go to your network settings, click advanced network settings, alternate MAC address, select clear, then reset. Your console will restart at that point.
