    im sick of having a £400 paperweight every time Xbox live is down for whatever reason.

    i don't understand why we don't receive service credits when we don't receive the service we pay for. I'm sure I'm not alone how do we raise this complaint? I can't seem to find a "complaint" option anywhere.

    can anyone help/join me?

    As a new user, I'd really like to understand how Netflix, Vudu, etc... access goes down. These are apps that shouldn't rely on Xbox live or any MS components after being downloaded. I agree, it would be nice to have a place to register a complaint instead
    of being so public. Since they don't have one, I guess we all get to air everything for the world to see how frustrating it is.

  3. that status page is useless, it just says its down, nothing else.. no eta, no explanation why, just that its down.. this does not help any.

    I understand that Everyone is Having Issues. It also Varies on what side of the Country you are on. On my end, Most of Xbox Live Services are up & running Including Netflix.

  5. From what I read & my Understanding the "Outage" is very Spotty. As some people have Access to Live while others don't. & There are other of Disc based games to play while the Network is down.

  6. What the hell. Just bought an xbox One, went online on live, paid for the game, only to find I cant even play anythying?. Did a bit of research, tried some factory resets etc, only to find that the system is down? So why the hell are you still taking peoples

  7. Neither my daughter or myself are able to sign in to Xbox Live, even though the status page says there are "no problems" with Xbox Live. Not impressed at all.

    Xbox this is ridiculous. Netflix earlier in the day: Fine no problems. Couple hours of the first Garden Warfare game to gear up for midnight: again, no problem. But as soon as I go, at midnight, to play the new Plants VS Zombies: GW2 *that I preordered
    digitally for the first time from YOU because my wife and I were dead set to play it right at midnight* and now Xbox live isn't working. At all. Every other time I buy a game, I go and purchase it from my local retailer, but this time I wanted to save time
    and buy it right from my Xbox instead. Digital first, the way of the future right? Wrong. Now I am stuck, looking at the unplayable tile on my dashboard, thinking how I will never EVER pre-order from my Xbox again.

    What's really embarrassing is that even when this was the way Xbox One was going to go (digital only, one box under the TV) I still supported Xbox. I was the only one I knew who supported Xbox. Everyone else went PS4. And this is where we, the loyal fans
    of Xbox get left.

    I'm not going to start throwing around idle threats like I see in some of the other boards. Honestly, yes I am upset, but not enough to jump ship and move to PS4. And maybe that's why you, Microsoft, don't really care about what anyone on these boards
    say. Because you know at the end of the day it's probably just talk. But it's upsetting to me to see just how much you don't care. AT ALL. The cry across every board seems to be the same: we've all lost time from a service that we pay for. I service
    that we pay to use. A service that is currently completely down. Sure I've seen some Ambassadors say to "just play offline" but that's not what we want. We want to be able to use the full amount of the service we pay for. You don't pay for a gym membership
    and get told "well just use the treadmill and nothing else" and be happy with it. We want to be able to use whatever service, whether it be Online gaming, TV, offline gaming, networking, etc. when we want, and lacking that we should be compensated for our
    trouble. And when I called to talk to your customer service I was first told that there was a high call volume and then told that customer service was closed. And this is really the crux of the problem: we, the customer, don't feel like you care about our
    concerns.

    I realize that sometimes a service is going to be down. The same could be said for Internet, phone, electricity, etc. But when those go down, we are either a.) not charged for utility we don't use or b.) given that day for free. And that's what you need
    to do Microsoft, to make this right. You don't need to respond to every post. There's a lot of us, we are upset, and we are vocal about it. That's the way the internet is. So you can either continue to ignore us, and upset all the loyal customers who want
    to stay with you through this, or you can acknowledge that we are having a problem and make good on your end for all the other countless gamers who, like me, are stuck with nothing to do but stare at our blank screens and be upset.

    Been having connection trouble too for well over a week now. The last status update almost fixed it but it is back. The status page doesn't accurately reflect the issues I'm experiencing. Service just drops and I have to hunt down my router and reenter the
    password . . . but nothing happens. But my 360 seems fine, only, I bought an xone for a reason. It ain't doin so hot, Microsoft.

    Let's try to clarify a little since there is no Game Pass Gold sub. On XBOX you can have Game Pass and/or Xbox Live Gold which provide different benefits but are not the same thing
    (and are of course eventually included in the
    Game Pass Ultimate).

    Game Pass sub gets you access to the Game Pass library of games as long as you are subscribed.

    Xbox Live Gold enables most multiplayer functionalities and gets you 4 free titles each month (2 for 360 that are yours to keep
    available also on the One thanks to retrocompatibility and 2 for the One that can be played as long as you have an active gold sub). You actually have to redeem those games while your sub is active, which means you cannot get later games that were offered
    while you had no active subs.

    That being said, which is the sub you currently have and which games are giving you troubles?

    If you have only gold, then you should be able to play only games coming from the gold free titles that you eventually redeemed while you had the ultimate active plus the ones currently available. If you have the Game Pass
    instead, you should be able to get the games from its catalogue.

    Thats honestly a good idea. It could be reported quickly and fixed a WHOLE lot quicker, but i mean theyre probably working as fast as they can right now, hopefully in the future theyll fix it
