can't play any digital games

And you would just sit there, eating your disgusting food with a smile on your face? Or would the chief cook you another? You need to stand up for yourself in life kid, no one else will do it for you.

Any Restaurant I have EVER been too, they would take care of their customers, so they have returning customers, to improve their business.

 

5 days and no end in sight? If this is not fixed when I get home I will be turning in my one for a Ps4. Same as if they dont give any compensation, I am done with muicroshit.

I am trying to access three different $60 games, use my netflix, use my paid xbox live or use you tube, NONE work. Its a useless paperweight.

Cmon...this is unacceptable for a FREE service...we actually pay for this garbage.

 

Hi out There , im having some issues too. For what ever Ression i get logged in to my Brother in laws xbox Account! I have deleted his Account in the meanwhile. ..and all Sees fine now! What Wonders me ...my kinect should log me in...but DoseNT! My Brother

Xbox says my connection is good but I can't use any downloaded games, multiplayer, or streaming apps.

 

You can play offline. The issue is not being able to play online content offline. If you have physical disks then you can play that way. But most of us are buying digital content now and this needs to be resolved.

 

it's the age of online only gaming kids better get use to it.

 

If you're like me and sick and tired of Microsoft taking advantage of its customers, and happen to live near a disk replay game retailer, I'd highly recommend trading your xb1 there for a ps4. You will, however, have to compensate about $50 but it'll be

I agree with the above post. I'm sick of not being able to connect to xbox live. Going to sell my 2 xbox ones and buy a couple of PS4s.

 

Dear Microsoft/To whom it may concern,

I've been a member of Xbox live for nearly 8 years now, and as far as console gaming was concerned, I have a been a loyal Xbox gamer. Not only have I poured countless amounts of money into the Xbox, games, accessories, etc... But I've been a volunteer ambassador
for Microsoft, always marketing it, selling it to my friends, bragging how great it is, but more so lately defending it. It's sad to say that as of late, I've nearly made up my mind that once the new consoles hit the market, I will be switching over to Playstation
along with the 10+ squad members I play with religiously. I personally own 2 consoles, 5 controllers, 4 headsets, and 25+ games for the One. I'm going to start cutting back buying items for the Xbox, as I hardly get to use any of them anymore with the constant
network issues.

To this point, I really tried to prevent myself from writing something like this to you (Microsoft) instead just dealing with the constant, and frequent issues, but I can say that I have finally had enough. Honestly at this point, I am not sure I will renew
my yearly membership when it expires, for the first time in nearly 8 years. Instead, I may trade everything I own for the xbox for a PS4, and give them my business as they have less issues (verified from many friends) I'm not sure what has changed at Microsoft,
but Xbox live really has taken a nose dive directly into the concrete. Take tonight for instance... I cannot even access offline games, apps (netflix, amazon video, etc) or the store... Not a big deal I understand, but after working 12+ hours today, I looked
forward to coming home and playing a few games with friends before I go to sleep, and do it all over again. If the two free games a month Microsoft is giving us is supposed to appease followers of Microsoft to endure the constant issues, then quite frankly,
you can keep your two crappy games you give away, and make Xbox live free, at least until you can get it right.

Besides Xbox, I've been a Microsoft fan since MS-DOS... Yes, you read that correct, MS-DOS... I've been steadily using Windows since Windows '95, and have always preached about Windows over Apple (Being a PC professional, and PC gamer) but even now, i'm
not willing to take the leap into Windows 10, as Windows 8 was complete garbage. It was more stable than Windows ME (MORE ERRORS hehe) but horrible interfaced for PC's, maybe good for tablets and phones???

Anyway, the moral of this story is... Heed the warning signs before they are too late, and you lose your LOYAL customer base. I believe those days are not too far away.

I also Have a PS4 and they do have issues as well. The outages suck overall and need to be fixed especially since these devices are internet connected devices.

 

better a gaming PC since it would be the same BS with PS4 the difference is that they give you things for down time while here is a "it's fixed now buy more"... In pc once you have your game you only have to have a good internet, game updates and OS updates
while with xbox and psn you have to have the OK from sony and microsoft... I went with a gaming PC and connected the xbox controller and it's good but I miss my games...

 

I know there are problems with XBOX live now, but my complaint is that it's pretty ridiculous that because XBOX live services are down, I'm unable to play any of my purchased, paid for, and downloaded games. What's the point in DOWNLOADING them if I'm not
able to play them when offline?

I think MS needs to figure out a way to still make downloaded games accessible even when they're experiencing XBOX live issues so they can function just the same as a disc based game. Either that or MS should provide hard copies of games we've purchased
through the store. Sure, send it via USPS, but still, do something so that we're not totally dead in the water when XBOX live is down.

I hope this doesn't happen, but just for discussion's sake, what if I was no longer able to afford my internet service and all the games I'd bought were digital downloads? I'd have a useless XBOX with a library of games downloaded on it that would be unplayable.
That'd be pretty uncool.
