    Cant play any backwards compat games online.


    None of the game I purchase or install on xbox one x then play on xbox one x with backwards compatibility work. They boot into 360, my old account with a different gamertag is signed in, then I can play game but cant connect to xbox live so no multiplayer
    in any backwards compatible games so frustrating! Believe it has to do with difference in gamertags even though its same account. Im slob but they sign in as angryfawn or zzzz999 cant get any support from microsoft no chat even though it says available 24
    hrs so have to post here.

    im having the same problem with Southpark the stick of truth it says i cant connect to the internet.

    strange thing is banjo-tooie also a backward compatible game works just fine and when im playing that it says im online on the emulator.

    So it looks like there are a few backward compatible titles that are unplayable right now

    Hi Jasmine, if it was a console ban, then surely I wouldn't be able to play any game online? Yet I can play all my games other than those that are backwards compatible. Also I can play backwards compatible games on my friend's xbox using my account just
