Cant play a multiplayer game with Halo Anniversary?

They shouldn't have launch without it up and running and not told anyone, its fundamental almost iconic part of the game

 

they didnt launch the game knowing it was broken, but unfortunately things happen on a global scale, take the internet, that is just pure guesswork and a mess, it could have been routing issues, external datacenter causing issues, anything. A company cannot
test for mass failure before launch unless they used a beta and even then that may not show a global issue.

Companies use models and there know how of these things but with there being thousands of lines of code just for matchmaking and a global launch and external issues out of there hands, crap happens.

 

how do you know they didn't launch knowing there were issues? And in this day and age you can test, of cause they can, and there are millions of people happy to help, and for free.

Even testing it on a local scale should have shown there was matchmaking issues.

We don't know what, where and when they tested, but its clear what they built doesn't work.

Theres a big difference IMO from a what I consider minor issues, like occasional discontects, framerate issues etc, but the current issue is for two selections (MP, and Coop) of the community to not be able to play like they want, at all.

The issue is going to effect you based on your level of tolerance to the issues, but in my opinion it doesn't sit well for the future of gaming, when developers keep making mistakes.

 

is everyones halo multiplayer still down? searching. searching. searching. searching…… still?

 

played co-op fine last night but have to be honest i havent tried MP

 

There was a... ta da.... Update for Halo MCC which I downloaded about 3 hours ago 88mb big. Maybe that update fixed Multiplayer? I'm giving up with multiplayer at least until next week. All my other friends also are just playing the campaign. Am enjoying
the CE and Halo 2 campaign. One of my FAV Youtubers is even doing gameplay of MCC Halo 2 campaign on his channel.

 

Multiplayer is working fine for me. It just takes several minutes to find a match.

I can't believe how terrible I am at this game. I used to be OK at Halo, but I think I'm just too used to COD and other fps. Not being able to run feels really weird.

 

has anyone had problems ever with syncing online info not working? happened both on halo and madden and on madden it also doesn't read my disc sometimes. any ideas?
