Cant play a game i downloaded on my friends account

So, i tried to download the new game with gold on the xbox 360 and it dind't work. Then i went on my friends account which i had downloaded on my xbox and downloaded it and it worked. I went on my account and tried to play it but now it wont launch.

Cant play game downloaded from licenses transfer

me and my friend did a licenses transfer. he got gta 4 and minecraft from me. I got call of duty black ops 2 from him. he can play the games on his account but I cant play the game he gave me on my account. ive deleted te game and re downloaded it ive deleted
my profile and re downloaded it but it still wont work when eve I click on he game it says cant launch black ops 2 what do I do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my daughter can't play a game I downloaded for her

Hi I downloaded Roblox on my xbox one (with my account) and my daughter can not play it on her account. Why is this ? When my friend downloads a game on his ps4 all accounts on it can play.

Just a word of advice, accessing any account other than your own is against the TOS and can lead to enforcement action taken against the account or console. Doesn't matter if you have permission or not. It is also against the TOS to lend your account to
someone else to access.

I would also like to know if there is a resolution to this problem. I just downloaded the game last night and only downloaded it to play with my friends. And after spending 10$ I cant even play the game with them.

Yes im getting the error message and i downloaded the games from a friends account off of his game first logged into his name and then switched back to mine but i cant play them anymore

It says "cant launch sleepinv dogs" after I signed into my friends account on my xbox and re downloaded it. I did the same for trials evolution but that worked and I could play it whenever. Any ideas??????????

Hmmmm, I see the logic. But perhaps you could have your cake and eat it too. Buy the physical game. Upload it from the disk. Then, for a small fee I am sure, download a license agreement for the game to bind it to the account, but still being able to take
it to a friends house. The difference being is the friend cant download the license.

Hence,

Buy a game new = play off of the disk with option to upgrade with attaching the license to the account.

Buy a game used/borrow friends = play off of disk only.
