Can't play a game after buying the game pass

Thank you for reaching out to the forum. Nothing will happen to archivements and save games. They will all stay unchanged. You will just no longer have access to the Game Pass game catalog of games. But you will still be able to buy any of the games, if
you want to play it. Just be aware that even though you might have game pass games installed, you can't play them without purchase after you game pass is ended.

You can't play online if you rent the game. You have to buy it new or buy an online pass code.

What games are you trying to play?

Are you sure that the game is still in GamePass? Some games leave Game Pass and can't be played unless you buy them.

Any games with Game Pass can only be played while you have an active subscription and the games are included with Game Pass. If you want to keep playing the games after your subscription ends, you have to buy the game.

If you chose to install the games only when using the Game Pass then, no you can't play them again without either 1, buying them or 2 having Xbox Game Pass again. Game pass is like renting the games with a choice of buying them at a discount.
