CANT PLAY A BOUGHT GAME

Bought an Xbox 360 game called BattleBlock theater on my Xbox one. I completed the transaction yet couldn't play the game once installed. Whenever I tried clicking on it I would be greeted with "have you bought this game?" I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the game wouldn't reinstall without me having to buy it again. I checked the transaction in "payment and billing" and it says that my transaction has gone through and status was "completed" I've tried everything from full blown restart, removing and re-adding my account, making sure it was my home Xbox, clearing caches, and etc. Yet with all this effort can't play my game please help me with this.

Hello, tou can try to clear the cache it can fix a lot of issues.

Do you have more than 1 xbox GT? If so make sure the one you bought the game on is set as home xbox or signed in.

Yes, I also recommend that. In my case I prefer to advise waiting up to 48 hours after date of purchase

I wasn't able to see the buy button before but I just waited for like 5 hrs and then it randomly popped up. What I reccomend to everyone who has the same problem is to just wait 24hrs if it doesn't resolve try using alternative methods
