Can't play a bought game on Xbox One without XBL Gold.

So, I have this little problem with my Xbox One, well not the console itself but a game. I bought an Xbox One month or so ago and I got the Assassin's Creed Unity Bundle that came with Unity and AC IV: Black Flag and other stuff. Well, now I can't
play Black Flag at all for some reason. Unity works fine, but when I try to play Black Flag, it gives me the message that you get when you try to play a ''games with gold'' game without Xbox Live Gold on Xbox One. Now I need Gold just to play Black Flag that
came with the console. That doesn't make any sense. I don't know if there's any type of fix or something like that, but it's such a waste if I can't play it without Gold. I'm currently trying to re-download the game to see if it fixes it somehow but I doubt
it (re-downloading the game did not work). So, If anyone can help me with this in any way, please do leave your replies. Thanks a bunch! (I already tried to seek some help for this before, but It didn't help that time so I just copy n' pasted this)

Can't Play Multiplayer With XBL Gold Membership

Hello I bought the gold membership yesterday (11.16.2017) plus I bought one of the free gold games. Also I can play my free gold games but I can't play multiplayer on my Xbox One. My console is connected to internet and I'm using XBL nearly for 5 years and
this just happened to me for the first time.

GTA Online, your profile does not have permission to Access Gta online

Does this mean that even though I had a GTA V profile on my XBox 360 (non-Gold XBL account), I can't migrate my profile to my XBox One without going to XBL Gold??

Did you actually redeem the code for Black Flag ?

I think the problem is that Black Flag was a game with gold a while back & you need to be gold in order to play any games with gold on the xbox one.

If you redeemed the code & downloaded it from that i'd say the system is somehow getting a bit confused & thinks you are trying to access a game with gold.

Not heard of this before so don't have a solution,sorry.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I did, I remember entering the both codes into the redeem bar. I don't know, I guess my Xbox One is confused about it, somehow.

I bought xbl just to play... 3 months later found out i could play without gold

wish somone wouldve told me sooner.

1- you can't play the Xbox One games but the original 360 or Xbox games

2- for someone else to play the multiplayer pair without gold, you need to configure the gold account as the main one in the xbox where you will play and the other user without problems can play in another xbox

If the game is for the Xbox One then you can't play it without Gold.

In order to play games for the Xbox One from Games with Gold you'll need an active Xbox Gold subscription, however you don't need one to play games for the Xbox 360 that you have from the program.
