Cant pay

if your credit card isn't working then you might have to contact the credit card company to see what it takes to get it working again.

If the credit card is expired then you might be able to add an additional payment option via
http://account.microsoft.com and pay the tax with that new payment option.

If adding an alternative payment option isn't working and the current one can't be fixed, then you might want to contact Xbox Support via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat to see what options are available to sort this billing issue

If you already have a card registered on your account and your new one has the same long number as the old one you will have to click the "edit" button for that card and change the exp date and 3 digit code on the back to the new one then hit save.

You could buy a 12 month card from someplace like amazon and use that instead. Just redeem the code. I know some have the option to email you the code which can be cheaper.

You can edit or add cards in tour account settings or buy a 3 month or year prepaid
