can't open NAT on netgear router on xbox one

i cant get my nat to be open on my netgear router i have turned nat filtering to open and turned upnp on but all it says is that my network is behind a UPnP port restricted nat i dont know what that means please help

ghosts says moderate nat, one says open

My friend is having the same issue. Open NAT on Xbox One, Moderate in Ghosts. Tried messing with the router settings, but no change. Motorola router, by the way. I am not having this problem and I am using a Netgear router.

Xbox one has open nat and 360 has moderate

I've spent hours messing around with the settings on my router and managed to get my Xbox one to have an open nat, it used to be strict. But now my 360 has a moderate nat when it used to be open. I've forwarded all the necessary ports for both consoles but
I can't get my 360 to open again. I have a netgear B90-755025-15 router. I've gone through the router and I can't find anything in order to enable UPnP. At this point I feel like I've done everything possible. Any help would be appreciated.

On your xbox, in the network settings go to test multiplayer connection, once the test is done don't hit b or a to continue instead hit your triggers and shoulder buttons together to get into a advanced test. Let it gather detailed nat inofrmation then
back out to the network box and your NAT type may be open then. My xbox always wants to think I have a moderate nat but when i do that it makes it open.

I had this problem i couldnt get a OPEN nat type with 2 xbox one consoles so i have to get a new router and i got the netgear nighthawk

Here is a potential solution for you
1. Login to your router
You can do this by navigating to your gateway in your internet browser (I recommend using a PC for this but it can probably be done on the Xbox browser). To find your gateway, go to your network details in Xbox or run ipconfig in your cmd window
on your PC.

For example, let's say your gateway is 192.168.0.1. To login to your router, type
http://192.168.0.1 into your browser. Change this IP address accordingly to match your gateway, just make sure you put http:// in front of it.

You can login to the WNDR3400 router using "admin" as the username. The password, unless you have changed it, is password. NOTE: Change this password if you haven't already.

2. Click the Advanced tab -> Advanced Setup -> IPv6
This opens your IPv6 settings. These are set to disabled by default. To change this setting, click the drop-down on the right side of the screen and change it to Auto Detect.

Click Apply Settings

3. After waiting a full minute, click Status Refresh
Allow the status to refresh, and then check to see if it updates. If it still says detecting... then wait a few minutes and try again.

4. Check your NAT type on your Xbox
Navigate back to your Xbox Network Settings and test your NAT. It should now say that it is open.

everyone just needs to get a netgear n6300 its a beast router i have 4 xbox 360 and 2 xbox one and they always have an open nat have never had a strict or moderate

Is your router an older one, my old Netgear could not have two NAT devices with open NAT, the first console on takes it, and others were strict or moderate, worth looking into, I have a new router and it's all good now.
