    Can't open apps or games on dashboard


    hi there this morning I have encountered a problem can't open apps or games on my Xbox one I have done a hard reset 2 or 3 times to get the same problem and also retried to sync the controller . I press the a button quite a few times like 20 times pretty
    fast and it opens a app /game and the button works fine . Any help much appreciated thanks luke131979

    Hey there, Luke!

    Just to clarify, does it appear that your console is not accepting the input from your controller? Have you tried unplugging your console for five full minutes and reset your network to see if this issue still occurs? Also, are you able to test using a different
    controller with your console?

    I mean it won't react to anything but me hitting the power button.

    It seems that I can't launch it from the Dashboard, but that it will launch fine if I open it from my Recent games/apps.

    Finally picked up the xbox one

    Press the start button on the controller when you have the app open but your on the dashboard at the same time ...you will have the option to quit the app or game. But only works when your on the dashboard.
