    Can't open ANYTHING


    I'm also having this issue. It started this morning when I went to log on. I get the dim screen, and I am unable to load anything. Eventually my controller freezes where I can't move unless I hold down the menu button but then can only move around the
    menu asking to Turn off Console/Controller.

    Just sat on the phone with support forever and came here to find out I'm not the only one... Has anyone came up with a solution yet? Have they even officially addressed this issue??

    I seen someone posted about opening things but I am unable to open ANY application at all it only makes the noise like it's acknowledging that I am trying to open.

    I can't open anything ie YouTube gta nothing opens I've tried restarting the Xbox (powering it down wait 10 sec unplug ) still doesn't work anyone else in new zealand having this problem ? Or any where else?

    Can't open anything

    I had this issue, and the only way I was able to sort it was via factory reset. You don't need to do a full factory reset, just pick the option that will allow you to keep you games and apps, meaning you won't lose those and have to re-download them

    How to factory reset

    Make sure when you select the option you choose to 'Reset and keep my games & apps'

    you can't open attachments in it , no flash or java - no virus, you can't download anything either.

    Try performing a power cycle on your Xbox. This will reboot the system and help clear any corrupt cache that could cause the system to act abnormally.

    you will need to open a ticket with activision as it is their system. microsoft can't do anything.
