    can't not download Minecraft with redeem code


    I bought my daughter for her birthday the Minecraft Xbox One bundle. Inside the box was the code to redeem for the new Minecraft Windsor 10 edition Beta. I redeemed the code without a problem however the game didn't download and now when I tired to use the
    code to attempt to download it again it says the code has already been redeemed and can't be used again. I've looked in my Microsoft online account and it doesn't show up on recent account history for purchases. What can I do?

    How to Redeem a Code on Xbox One - QR Code or 25 Character Code

    Hey guys! Okay, so you need to figure out how to redeem codes on the Xbox One? Well, there are a few ways of doing this.

    1.
    • Login to Xbox.com (top right hand side)
    • In the top bar, mouse over Xbox Live Gold
    • You'll see 'Redeem Code' in the drop down list
    • Click 'Redeem' and enter your 25 digit code!
    If your code is a game or DLC, it will automatically start downloading once you login to your Xbox, unless you have your Xbox in standby, which will allow it to download right away!


    2.
    • From the main page of the Xbox One dashboard, scroll to the right to the 'Games' section and select that section -or- If your Kinect is connected, say "Xbox, Use a Code"
    • If you have a QR code (that square looking code thing), you can hold it up to your Kinect to redeem it.
    • If you have a 25 digit code, in the lower left of the screen, you have the option to "enter the 25-character code." Click that and enter your code. Confirm your code and you're all set!
    Your item will automatically download. Enjoy!

    Stoopid question, but with everyone now having NXE, the instructions on the back of the manual are out of date, so where on earth do i go to redeem the code as i can no longer find an option called 'redeem code' will it work if i just select any song to download and then enter the code there? or is there an option within RB2 to redeem the code(not seen on if there is)

    The simplest option would be to download everything on your account, including redeeming a points code and downloading Minecraft. He will be able to play Minecraft and any other games or content you download.

    What were the DLC codes that he was given for?

    Hello,

    If you purchased/redeemed a code for Minecraft on this account it will be in your download history.

    From your Xbox 360 Dashboard > Settings > Account > Download History. If you redeemed it on this account it will be listed there. If it's not listed there then it would mean that this account did not purchase/redeem a code for this game.

    Please remember that only the account that's purchased the game will be able to re-download it.

    I did that, and I redeemed the code on my alt. But it still didn't give me free Windows 10 Minecraft. Am I not doing it right?
    If you redeemed the Code on your "alt", then Minecraft Windows 10 is bound to that account only.

    In order to get Minecraft on your PC then, you would have to open the Store app on your Windows 10 device, and in the upper right, sign out of your "non-alt" account in the store app. Then sign in with your "alt" account, and you should find Windows 10 Minecraft
    in your account's library. Simply download Minecraft from the library, and you should be able to play the game on your "non-alt" account as well.

    But only your "alt" account that originally redeemed the code can re-download Minecraft from the store. No one else can.

    I am not an expert, and I have the same problem. I first bought the "Minecraft: Java Edition", I wanted to use the redeem code to get "Minecraft for Windows 10", so I clicked "Redeem", I got the code, but when I entered it, it said "The code has already
    been redeemed.", I checked my order history, it said that I had bought "Minecraft for Windows 10" using the code, but when I clicked install, it keeps showing me a small window with my code. I then checked whether if the account/email on Mojang, Minecraft.net,
    and Microsoft Store, it was the same. So I don't get why I can't install "Minecraft for Window 10".

    ok so i redeemed a download code for it in the microsoft redeem area, i had to download the xbox app to play it. i download the minecraft launcher for it but it's only the demo. i have the bundle but for some reason it just comes up with this. basically i just can't play it.
