can't move recording bar

broadcast and Audio are stuck together in the middle of the screen and i can't move or separate them. after hitting record, a small record bar is shown automatically on the upper Right Corner and the broadcast-Audio window disappears. it works just fine
but the record bar is on a wrong place. it covers the Minimap from the game (Diablo 3).

on YouTube i have seen that other users have just the broadcast game bar without the Audio stucked at the Bottom and it has a - on the far Right side of this bar where the can mouseover and move the bar. when they hit record, a smaller red bar is shown and
they can move it anywhere on the screen. what am i missing?

Try this:

1. Click settings (cog icon)

2. Personalization

3. Overlays

4. Click "Reset" under default overlays

Also which build of Windows 10 are you running? You can check it under "About this PC" in settings. if it's too old it might have issues or if you are running preview/insider builds it might also have bugs introduced which are not present in "stable" build.

Tks. Needed to have Game Bar open to click and drag the active recording dialogue. Couldn't move it while recording without GB overlays active.

Eventually I realized a solution to this problem.
The recording timer icon does not move when used alone.
However, I noticed that if I started recording with the game bar displayed, it could move.
After moving once, it will be displayed in the same position by itself.
