Can't move games around in a group / create new group error code 0x800c000c

Having same problem with "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" on my Xbox One X.

Solved it by completely deleting the group and remaking it. Still not sure what was causing the issue.

Same here with 3 Games : Life is Strange , Life is Strange : Before the Storm , Captain Spirit...

Error "0x800c000c" tried Power Cycle , deleting the Groups , they Re-Apear always after a Console Restart!

You can add pins and groups and move items around by pressing the Options button (three lines) on them. Some will give you the option to remove, while ads and such will give you the option to "Show less like this".

You can add games, apps, etc. to your created groups and move them where you like. These pins would be called Groups once you create them. You can name the groups as well for organization purposes the way you would like.

That would be done the same way to add games to the Home screen by themselves as well if you do not want to create groups.

I get this same error code when i try to delete groups from two different accounts because the groups will not retain their games and apps after a reboot.

This error code isnt listed on xbox.com error help, and live support claimed to not know what it was.

I was told to remove account, restart console and add back account, create a group, all of which worked fine as always. But as soon as these two partivpart accounts log in on another consoler, the group 'no longer exists'....

3 account retain their groups fine between consoles. One of the accounts has a home console, so thought maybe that was it, but no joy. The other account affect had never had a home console.

this is a work-around, not a fix.

when you are online create groups of pinned games so that when you are offline you can browse your games by pressing the Xbox button then selecting the pinned group from the menu on the left of the screen and choosing the game from there.

you could create groups for each type of game to keep things organised and easier to find
