    Can't migrate Mojang account to Microsoft account


    Hello,

    I have had my Minecraft account for several years using an email on Yahoo. The email has been deactivated so I cannot access it anymore. When I try to log into Mojang and want to change the email, it asks the security questions which I do not remember the answer to.

    I'm not quite sure what to do now because I'm unable to access my account through Mojang login.

    Minecraft migration

    That's normal, you can't access the old Mojang account after the migration, you need to use the email you used to migrate the Mojang account to, in the launcher you need to select Minecraft Java and then Microsoft login and then use the email you use during the migration process

    The migration process has ended on 19 September 2023. If you forgot to migrate your Mojang account to a Microsoft account, you will not be able to sign in.

    However, if you already migrated your account, you can't re-migrate it to a different Microsoft account.

    You probably should explain them that you haven't migrated the account and that you made the purchase on the Mojang site before they require a Microsoft account for it, as Microsoft can't check the license of a Mojang account that hasn't been migrated yet

    I can't see what you mean in the screenshot as it only shows that you are trying to log with a Mojang account, but you either have already migrated that account and you need to use Microsoft login or you haven't migrated the account and you need to do the migration process
