Can't message people on Xbox one.

Are you getting an error when you try to message people? What is the error you are getting?

Have you checked enforcement.xbox.com to see if you have a communications ban?

Make sure maybe you violated code of conduct and get banned! Check link below~

As of now we are not having any issues reagrding sending messsages on xbox live. You can always check the status yourself here: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status . Check this possible

Do you have a Gold subscription. If so try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.
