Can't manage my child privacy settings

Hi,

I've created a family and added my child to it, I can see it in the Family settings that my child is there.

The problem is when I try to manage XBOX privacy settings from this page, my child is not there, only myself so I can't manage his settings:

I cannot manage my childs xbox privacy settings. My childs microsoft account is member of my Family (on the Microsoft Account page), but his gamingtag does not appear in manage privacy settings on account.xbox.com - please help

Child account with no parent account

Hello there,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. In order to manage the privacy settings of a child account, you will have to add an adult account to the family first :

Add members to your Microsoft family

You will need to add this child account to an adult accounts family. you can then follow the instructions on this link to manage the child account's privacy settings :

The problem is that my child isn't listed in that page:

account.xbox.com/Settings

He is in my family, but not listed in the settings page.

The site it's giving you information about how to add your manage your privacy settings, but doesn't mean you are already in a Microsoft family, that information appears because child accounts can't manage the privacy settings and an adult account needs to do it for them, so an adult most add your account to his Microsoft family to change the privacy settings
