    Can't make purchases in "Minecraft for Windows 10"


    Hey guys,

    I can't seem to find anyone who has the same issue as me online and I can't get a hold of Microsoft support for this, I can't seem to make purchases in "Minecraft for Windows 10", the items I want to buy are "Free" and so I don't see why it wouldn't be working.

    Every time I go to make a purchase, I get this error: "Sorry we were unable to complete your purchase maybe check your internet connection".

    Has anyone had and fixed this issue before? Thanks!

    Have you cleared your cache?

    If that doesn't work uninstalling and reinstalling is the only fix I have ever used that works.

    Well don't I feel like a real noob. Uninstalling and reinstalling the game worked! It also looks like the "Free" purchases I had made that I got the error message on were indeed added to my account, regardless of the error.

    Have you cleared your cache?

    If that doesn't work uninstalling and reinstalling is the only fix I have ever used that works.

    Transferring account from 360 to Windows 10

    While there are some "Play Anywhere" titles, that allow you to buy a game once, and play it on Windows 10 and Xbox One, there are no Xbox 360 titles that would transfer over to your Windows 10.

    And to make matters worse, as Smwutches already said, Minecraft is not a Play Anywhere title either, so there are already two reasons why you can't get Minecraft on your Windows 10 from your Xbox 360 purchase.

    However, if you purchase the Java Minecraft on Mojang, you will also get a code for the Windows 10 version.
