Can't make my home Xbox

Also,how do I prevent him from using my Microsoft account on xbox.com aswell as on my Xbox One because he added himself to my Microsoft family thingy on xbox.com and can change the password on xbox.com.

I borrow this thread because i have a similiar problem.

First of all my xbox was set as home xbox from the begining but my kids where playing around when i wasent home. They have pressed this button for "Dont make this as my home xbox"

No my licenses for games doesent work.

I tried to press "Make this as my home xbox again"

It says " we are sorry but we cant do this settings right now"

I have tried a couple of time but still get the same message.

Anyone know how to fix this?

You can change which console is your home Xbox up to three times during a one-year period. This period works on a rolling
basis, starting the moment you change your home Xbox for the first time. For example, if you make your console your home Xbox for the first time on January 1st, and then change it two more times, on February 1st and March 1st, you will not be able to change
it again until January 1st of the following year. The next time you'll be able to change it after that will be on the following February 1st, and then again on March 1st. Please make a note of the dates when you change your console to your home Xbox so that
you'll know when you can change its designation again.

When you change home consoles, all device licenses for digital content will move to your new home Xbox. These device
licenses will no longer be available on your old "home" Xbox.

That means you have to wait a year before making changes and 1 years after the last change to get all 5 back

You don't check your status you set your home xbox to your own coNSole and it will tell you how many are left it is NOT SHARE with someone to gain more games

If you are 0/5 then you can only sign in online to use your content or wait a year for one change from your first change this is why you don't abuse the home console

5 is generous as most systems only allow 3 per year
