Cant make a purchase in the xbox one marketplace

I purchased rainbow six seige that was on sale for $30. An hour later I wanted to purchase need for speed: rivals on the xb1 marketplace. But I came across the error: something went wrong - give it another try. If this happens again, let us know by entering
the code below at xbox.com/errorhelp so we can investigate.

Error code was far too long but there also were no support articles after entering it

Make Your 1st Purchase on Xbox LIVE Marketplace:

Available only to participants making their first Xbox LIVE Marketplace purchase since joining Xbox LIVE (it is still considered a "first time purchase" if the participant has not made a Marketplace purchase since 12/31/07).

This is defined as the purchase of an Xbox LIVE Marketplace item using Microsoft Points or a dollar denominated credit card transaction. Your first purchase must be made on or after the confirmation of your enrollment into the Program.

The purchase of Microsoft Points only will not count towards receiving these Microsoft Points.

If you have already made an Xbox LIVE Marketplace purchase prior to the start of the Program, you are not eligible for this award.

Only participants who make their first purchase on the Marketplace will earn one hundred (100) Microsoft Points.

Participants can only earn these Microsoft Points one time during the Program.

 

can't buy games glitch

Hey, wolfster259! If you are getting this message, it's because your account is registered in the system as a Child Account. The only way around purchasing Games with Gold for Child Accounts is by making the purchase on an Xbox 360. Changing the settings
to make "unrestricted purchases" does not work for the 360 Marketplace, so you will be unable to make these purchases on the Xbox One or the Marketplace website. For more information, please check out our

dude i am getting the same thing! i tried purchasing doom after putting 100$ on my account! I am fruuuuustrrated. I was hoping to find some answers. i hope we can purchase before the good games arent on sale again.....

 

There is a service alert up at the moment

Just keep checking that link to see when the service alert is fixed.
