    Can't Login to Xbox Profile?


    Here is the issue: I am trying to login to the Xbox console using my Gmail account. I think I entered the password incorrectly twice, so it asked if I had a PIN set up. I didn't, so it suggested setting one up.

    After setting up the PIN, now it won't allow me to enter a password or a PIN on the login screen. It just has an error:

    "You've entered an incorrect PIN too many times. To try again, restart your system.

    The dictionary attack mitigation is triggered and the provided authorization was ignored by the provider."

    I restarted the system, which did nothing. How can I reset this error, so it will let me put the password and/or PIN to login?

    This still doesn't help me. I can't get into anything online on any Xbox. The store just asks to reload. I can't view my account profile, I can't login to Fortnite, I can't login to call of duty.

    Is all your ports open?

    I sence you saying they never have, but for the best gaming experiance these must be open.

    These ports must be open for Xbox Live to work:

    • Port 88 (UDP)
    • Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
    • Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
    • Port 80 (TCP)
    • Port 500 (UDP)
    • Port 3544 (UDP)
    • Port 4500 (UDP)

    It could be that your account is connected to the aerver that is having problems at the moment.

    If you wait an hour or two, your account will be on a different server and things should be back to normal for you.

    Paul from the Xbox Forums Team here to assist, it sounds like you're experiencing an issue with logging into your Microsoft account. Are you trying to log into the account on your Xbox One console or PC? If you're trying to log into the account on the Xbox
    One I suggest performing a
    power cycle on the console     as well as troubleshooting the network. Please let us know how it goes.
