CAN'T LOGIN TO XBOX LIVE, SINCE LAST NIGHT- AUGUST 20TH 2015

SINCE LAST NIGHT , MY ACCOUNT BEEN TRIPPING, TELLING ME SOMEONE ELSE MIGHT BE USING MY ACCOUNT, I CHANGED MY PASSWORD TWICE STILL CANT CONNECT MYSELF.

October update

The October preview group is still getting new updates in the preview program. The latest one was last night. This will probably be the last update since it seems their are no known bugs in it. So probably by next week the Oct update will go live for normal users and us preview guys will get the Nov update towards Oct 20th or something.

This is just how the updates have been working lately.

Changing your password was a good step already. However, if your account was successfully downloaded on a 360 console, you need to do the following:

If you have a Smartphone (iOS, Android or Windows Phone will do), please go to the
page for Account Protection.

There should be a section, where you can enable Two Step Verification to further protect your account from account hijacking and theft. With Two Step Verification enabled, the Live service will need a secret code from a code generator app on your smartphone
IN ADDITION to your password, when you sign in from an unknown device. If a thief hijacks your account, the thief would also need your smartphone to get into your account.

After you secured your account with Two Step Verification, you need to create a so called App Password. On your Xbox 360 use THAT APP PASSWORD instead of your regular password to sign into your account.

If someone else was able to successfully download your account to a 360 already, you need to disable that downloaded account. To do that go to the
Profile Protection page here. On that page press the button to have each console request a password the next time the console tries to sign in your account.

Remember to enter your App Password instead of your normal password!
