Can't login to Xbox (Beta)

Hi,

I read that multiple people have had a similar problem but none of the solutions have worked for me.

I do own Game Pass for PC and downloaded Xbox (Beta). I have to start it from the Windows Explorer for some reason (Start Menu doesn't work) but that's fine. I can't login to the app however and therefore can't use my Game Pass. I always get the Error "The
authentication tagret is invalid or not configured correctly" (translated from German). These are the things I've already tried:

- Reinstalled Xbox Identity Provider

- Reinstalled the Xbox (Beta) app multiple times

- Created a local account for Windows

- I'm logged into the Xbox Console Companion

None of that changed anything. Is there anything else I can do? The latest update for the app (yesterday, I think) didn't help either.

Hi!

No, it's not confusing, just a little frustrating. I'm just waiting for the update that'll make it possible to use the app and my Game Pass. Now, don't get me wrong, it's not that I'm running out of games to play. These days everyone's pile of shame is higher
than Keith Richards in his prime 😁. Still, I'd love to try out some of the games on Game Pass.

I do Windows version 1903, though.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community for help trying to get your Game Pass for PC to work.

I can understand how these new updates can be confusing especially when they are coming out really quick.

Do you mind if I ask what version of Windows you're currently running?

These apps run the best on version 1903, so if you're having problems, it might behoove you to make sure that you have your PC up to those specs.

I did. Sadly they didn't have a solution either. I thought maybe someone discovered something they didn't think of.

Its been noted that a lot of individuals have been encountering issues with this particular app.

If you were unable to find solution in the
Windows 10 Xbox (Beta) App FAQ, then there really isn't any other techniques we can provide for you at this time.

I would encourage you to visit the FAQ frequently to see if there are any new updates or solutions at a later time.
