Can't login to wordament with Microsoft

I've been playing wordament for sometimes and few days ago started having problems I can't login to the game. Have you changed something?

Error Codes

I keep getting error code Dx87DD0005 when I try to login to Microsoft Solitaire collection/Wordament Games. How do I correct this?

unable to log in to xbox account for wordament

I have been playing wordament and solitaire for years, with an automatic login to my xbox account. since yesterday both games are unable to log in. I did the usual steps: waited for four hrs as suggested by the wordament message (to synch with the server),
tried to login to apps store (can do that), restarted computer, downloaded troubleshooting app - it claims it fixed the corrupt login but it didn't help. clearly this is an account issue - any ideas how to resolve it? thank you.

Same here i can only play as guest and signing in on xbox.com did not help

I had the same problem after updating my Microsoft password. To get Wordment to sign in I had to uninstall and reinstall the application. Once reinstalled I was able to sign in using my new Microsoft password. Hope this helps. Cheers.

Nice, but I want to continue playing the old Wordament. I tried all the steps except for Step 5 (because I want to continue playing the old Wordament), but I still can't login into LIVE, even though I terminated and restarted Wordament, Microsoft Store, and Xbox Console Companion.

Do you have any other device where you can install Wordament app and login with your Microsoft user? I'm saying this just to check it is not something device specific.

Depending on the outcome, we can find different solutions to this problem.

I'm not entirely sure if any leaderboard feature in Wordament has been removed with a recent update.
