can´t login to the xbox app!

I recently bought Forza Horizon 3 on my PC and never used the xbox app before, now I cant login to the xbox app. So when I click on the app it starts with me having to choose an account, no "welcome back" message or somethign similar ever appeared. When
I choose my microsoft account, which is conencted to an xbox live account i used on my old 360 it always says that I cant be logged in to xbox live.

There is no error code whatsoever, it just says "Access denied", nothing else, I dont knwo what to do since i ahvent found anything similar on the internet...

Can you guys help me please?

Can`t login Xbox Live for Win10, everytime have this error.

Reseting Microsoft Profile on device and clearing cache for Xbox App did not help.

 

Unable to accept new terms for my daughters account?

I'm having same issue.

My daughter's account requires new T&C's to be accepted. She logins and accepts, it then asks for the parent account to login. I do so and it just takes me back to her account, same page to accept the T&C's.

At same time I can login into my Xbox live account on different PC and there is nothing for me to accept or deal with. My (adult) account is working fine.

I get error code 0x3fb on the green Xbox dialog box.

PC: Windows 10, Xbox App 8.8.15003.00000

 

oh btw ive already restarted my internet and pc, and reinstalled my xbox app via powershiled, i have the newest version of the app and of windows 10

Happened to me too. Try what this link says and it may get going for you.

 

Same here! I click 'sign in' and get a window for 'XBOX/Windows 10' "Better gaming everywhere" with the options: Next or Not Now. If I click 'Next' I'm given the option to choose an account, my Microsoft account with my home email or a Microsoft account
for Outlook, Hotmail, Live, MSN (I have none of those accounts). So I choose the first option and after it tries to process for a few minutes, I get 'We couldn't sign you in to the Xbox Live' & 'The background task activation is spurious.'

 

Getting "Access is denied" with the XBOX and the Beta version of the XBOX app since updating to 14942. Disabled firewall, same message. Removed Microsoft account, added, same message. I can log in using the same account on XBOX.com, Microsoft, my Xbox
One and no login issues. Just is an issue on my PC.

Found this in another post on this forum. This worked for me with 14942.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Xbox sign-ins may fail, as well, as a result of service host separation. To fix this issue:

1. Run the following from an admin Command Prompt (or edit the registry accordingly):REG ADD HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\XblAuthManager /v SvcHostSplitDisable /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f
   
2. Reboot the system, so that XblAuthManager now shares a service host process with Windows Update and Background Intelligent Transfer Service.
