Can't login to profile.

It says this is on your side but your page says everything is up. Why is it I can't login to my profile for at least offline play for whatever reason I can't connect to your servers.

Backwards compatibility question

You can login, make sure you are logged into a profile on your xbox one, then hit the back and start (view and menu) buttons in x360 mode... That brings up the option to sign into profiles and download profiles.

Even if you use another xbox 360 it should let you login to a xbox 360 profile and it should just say it was last signed in on another system. I'd make sure you are signed into a profile, if you are trying splitscreen stuff make sure your friend signs into his xbox one profile before then signing into his xbox 360 profile.

Awkward, but it works. Been busting up borderlands splitscreen in bc for a couple days.

Without more info. it's hard to tell but it's possible that your account just needs to be verified. For a step by step guide to adding security contact information to your account, please visit

support.xbox.com/.../add-security-contact-information.

To verify your email and phone on account, log in to account.live.com and look for Security & Privacy, Change password and more. You should see your email address with an option to verify or send a code. Check your email for the code and return to enter
it on our site. This will verify the email address. Please do this for an email and phone number and you’re all set!

First make sure that there are no Xbox Live issues:
support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status

Then try logging into your account on Xbox.com.

Then try power cycling your Xbox One:
support.xbox.com/.../power-cycle-console

If you are still having issues logging into your account reply back with any error messages/codes that you are getting along with your Detailed Network Statistics that can be found on your Network Settings.

Is all your ports open?

I sence you saying they never have, but for the best gaming experiance these must be open.

These ports must be open for Xbox Live to work:

Port 88 (UDP)
Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
Port 80 (TCP)
Port 500 (UDP)
Port 3544 (UDP)
Port 4500 (UDP)

It could be that your account is connected to the aerver that is having problems at the moment.

If you wait an hour or two, your account will be on a different server and things should be back to normal for you.

Paul from the Xbox Forums Team here to assist, it sounds like you're experiencing an issue with logging into your Microsoft account. Are you trying to log into the account on your Xbox One console or PC? If you're trying to log into the account on the Xbox
One I suggest performing a
power cycle on the console as well as troubleshooting the network. Please let us know how it goes.

First make sure you haven't received any suspension, you can do this by entering this site: https://enforcement.xbox.com and by checking if you have Xbox Live Gold subscription active on your profile.

I have no reason to have an enforcement ban on me. Could it be because my Live subscription is up? But even then, I can't buy Microsoft points on my console. It says its down.

Hello, please visit enforcement.xbox.com to check your accounts status.

As stated above please hard reset your console by pressing the power button for a few seconds until the console turns off. Unplug all the wires. Turn off your router for 5 mins and turn eveything on again. And plug the wires in again.
