Can't Login to my Xbox Account in Asphalt 8: Airborne

I'm having login issues to my Xbox Account in Asphalt 8: Airborne. After the game started up, I noticed that the Xbox logo on the top-right is greyed-out. When I click on it to login, I get this error message below:

I tried reopening the game, reinstalled it, and I even reset the app. I still have the same login issue.

Can anybody else confirm this?

I know for sure this is an Xbox login issue.

Yes, but Asphalt 8 is a Windows 8 game.

There is currently an issue at this moment were it's not possible to connect to Xbox Live with a Windows 8 game. I've tested it myself with 4 or 5 Win 8 games and neither one will connect. I'm sure Microsoft will be aware and working on a fix.

Asphalt 8: Airborne - Fun Real Car Racing Game. I recommend to try uninstalling the game from your PC and re-installing the digital content from the Microsoft Store.
