Cant login to minecraft because of privacy settings on xbox.com?

I have a Microsoft account and have added my son. He is unable to login to minecraft to play multiplayer on his ipad.

He keeps getting a message saying the settings must be changed in

Privacy and safety on the xbox.com site which I have done for his

specific account on both the Microsoft account on our and the xbox account on our PC. In fact for the time being I

have made it pretty broadly open for his age in an attempt to just get

it to work- allow multi player, allow friends to see if you are online

etc. No luck.

Why cant i chat on Minecraft? I keep trying to sign in on a load of servers then it wont let me.

On Minecraft i cant chat because of the privacy settings when i try to login.

hate microsoft for this

i cant play Minecraft because of Xbox app on it so i singed in and now i still cant play because of a privacy setting on my own computer that i bought and want to play Minecraft on. this is why i hate Microsoft.

I am having the same problem. We have tried for three days to login in.....but the xbox screen just times out.......and then says check your internet connection. I changed all the privacy settings to "allow" with hopes it would work......but we still can't
play online the pc Minecraft game we bought from Microsoft store. This is not right! They need to fix the problem! My diagnostics on my computer say there is nothing wrong with my network connection. Lots of people are complaining on the Minecraft Forum......thinking

This worked.

Goto xbox.com and login. On the right side, go to xbox settings, privacy. In all three categories,
choose the most unrestricted settings for all. Reboot and login.

We have recovered the Microsoft account but we cant login to the Xbox live account from the Microsoft account since the hacking. If we try to login to Xbox live from the Minecraft window, it gives us an error code, and if we try to login through the Microsoft email account then it tells us this,

'Why can’t I change my privacy settings?

Note If you’re seeing this page, you were redirected here because you couldn’t change your privacy and online safety settings.

This is likely due to two reasons:

You’re using a child account that’s a member of an Xbox family group
You’re using an adult account that’s set as a member of an Xbox family group'

to answer your question simply, we cannot log in to the minecraft account.

Hello I am experiencing this problem with Minecraft im trying to join my friends realms but it said you cannot play minecraft realms because of how your account is set up. You can change your privacy and online settings in aka.ms/account settings
but it never works i cant find privacy settings anywhere it sends me to xbox support everytime. Please help
