Can't login Minecraft Launcher or Microsoft Store

The title says it all: the error code in MS is: " We encountered an error. Please try signing in again later. " ( I've been having this error for a while ), the error code in ML is: " Sorry, something went wrong. Try again in a while. (0x8000000D) "

I can't login only using a specific account, I've tried another one and it worked, figured this might help.

I'd also like to know how to delete a Microsoft Family as I made one just for testing and my other microsoft account is basically unusable.

Please use the Microsoft Gaming Repair Tool for Xbox App, this tool detects and automatically repairs error found on your system. Please download and install it using this link then run it as administrator.

Once done, verify the integrity of your Minecraft files:

open the Xbox app, navigate to the game you want to check, click the three dots next to it, select "Manage", then go to the "Files" tab and click "Verify and Repair"

If you're still having issues, please follow these steps to install the legacy launcher of Minecraft:

1. Delete the Minecraft launcher that exists on your computer.

2. Restart your computer.

3. Install legacy Minecraft launcher for Windows.

The previous link is for the old launcher.

Since you were able to check both Launcher and uninstall, reinstall the app multiple times. Kindly sign out on Xbox App, Microsoft Store App, and Minecraft Launcher then restart your PC before signing back in.

On your launcher, make sure to use "Microsoft Login"

I have the same problem and it's exactly the same on the phone. I put my Microsoft credentials, the login window closes normally. then this error appears. I can't login to the minecraft launcher either

You need to download the Minecraft launcher from the Microsoft store/Xbox app, inside the launcher you must login with the Microsoft account you used to migrate the Mojang account

There are two ways to install Minecraft Launcher, first is through Microsoft Store (Minecraft Launcher) and second is through Minecraft website (Download Minecraft & Server Software | Minecraft). Since you have issues with Minecraft Launcher, we recommend your try to uninstall the launchers you have installed and make sure you are using the correct account on Microsoft Store.

Then, visit Minecraft website to check your account that should show no Buy now option for any of the game versions of Minecraft (Login | Minecraft).

Next, try to install the Minecraft Launcher from the Microsoft Store and see if issue persist.

The last resort is to download the launcher and install it from Minecraft website. See if issue persist for the game.
