Can't log on to profiles with Live accounts

for the last three days, I have been unable to log on to the two profiles on my Xbox with Live accounts attached.

i can log on to the three local profiles just fine.

When I try logging on to the Live profiles, it gives me the "Signing In" and then freezes. from that point I can no longer access the Xbox Guide screen or use the "Back" function, my only option is turning the machine off and back on.

The network tests show the Xbox is successfully connecting to Live, and there are no network errors. I also never get any error messages.

My son's gamer tag was changed by an unknown person (hacker?) and he can't log into his profile on the game console.

So your saying i log into my account at my mates put my tag as home on his account.
I then log into my account at home and I can play all my games away from home.
And then my mate can play my games at his house on his profile ?
I don't need to be signed in at his house ????

Dont worry, xbox is giving maintenance to xbox live, try later

also...make sure your son has a Live account and not just a xbox 360 profile. Meaning...his account is downloadable via Xbox Live rather than just a profile on an xbox360 as most kids have.

The Xbox One will require you to create a"child" account as you can't just let your son use your profile because once he logs in somewhere else, it logs you out.

Also, there are financial and privacy reasons that this would not be recommended.

i can't download my xbox live profile to console.

early i've connect with my xbox live account on console but now it don't work.

the xbox live connection is working but it no log in.

so i tryed to download my profile without success.

Will deleting the profile lose your saved games on the console? I'm having the same issue. My family membership expired. When I renewed the membership, I can log on my Xbox with Live gold. Button son can't log in on the other Xbox. His profile is one of
the profiles on my family gold account...

I should also add that I've looked both at the topic "FAMILY ACCOUNT PROFILES CAN'T LOG INTO LIVE" and the thread referenced therein, but neither of these seems able to help me.

Im having the same problems. I can't seem to log onto xbox live using my console at all. My xbox even seems to have made a second profile, a live and a not.

Logged onto live through this website to see if I could manage my account, console says account isn't valid. I can log in, and change my profile, but anything I do to my account results in the "uh oh" message. I am aware that my card is out of date, but
I can't seem to do anything about it as every time I click update billing or upgrade I get the error :S

Anyone got any ideas?
