Can't log into XBOX App on my computer

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please clear Xbox App and Microsoft Store cache by pressing Windows + R to open the Run dialog. Type wsreset.exe and press Enter. This will clear the Microsoft Store cache and relaunch it.

Restart your computer and try logging into the Xbox app again.

And then run Xbox App troubleshooter. To do this, go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other Troubleshooters. Scroll down to Windows Store Apps and click Run. Follow the instructions and let it repair any detected issues.

Next is to check Xbox Services. Please make sure the essential Xbox-related services are running. Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and look for these services:

Xbox Live Networking Service

Xbox Live Auth Manager

Xbox Live Game Save

Gaming Services

Right-click each service, click Start, and ensure the Startup Type is set to Automatic.

Then update Xbox App. Kindly ensure that your Xbox app is updated to the latest version. Open the Microsoft Store. Click on Library in the left menu and check for updates. Update the Xbox app if there’s an available update.

After that is to reinstall Xbox and Gaming Services because corrupted files could be causing the error. Do this by opening PowerShell as Administrator:

Press Windows + S, search for PowerShell, right-click, and select Run as Administrator.

Then run these commands to uninstall and reinstall the Xbox app and Gaming Services:

Get-AppxPackage *Xbox* | Remove-AppxPackage

Get-AppxPackage *GamingServices* | Remove-AppxPackage

Start-Service "Install-Service GamingServices"

Reinstall the Xbox app from the Microsoft Store and try logging in again.

Temporarily Disable third-party antivirus or firewall. After that, retry logging into the Xbox app.

If it works, add the Xbox app to the exceptions list in your antivirus/firewall.

Kindly test network connection. Please go to Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced Network Settings > Network Troubleshooter.

Let Windows diagnose and fix any connectivity issues.

If using a VPN, make sure that it is fully disabled and not interfering with the connection.

Should I completely log out of the Xbox app in my first computer? I can't get the Cloud Gaming button to appear within the app even in my second PC even if the first one is shut down.

I also can't log in on the microsoft store. I created a different account on my computer with admin privleges and a local login. It was able to log in on both the xbox app and the microsoft store. So how do I fix my main account to allow me to log in on
that?

The safest way to protect your info on a shared computer, is that each user has their own log on to the PC itself.

That way they can't log in to the Xbox App or any other app as you, or see your data.

Xbox app is requesting I purchase another live service. Windows 11

I went into my browser logged in to the live website. Did a second factor verification. Then re opened the app and it said my windows log in did not match my live log in and showed I needed to purchase the Xbox service.

I previously had the Xbox app working on both my living room computer and the game room computer. Both computers have a different log in for windows as they are completely different machines.
