Cant log into my Xbox X- constantly redirected to account.microsoft profile

Hello there,

I’m facing the same issue, and I followed the steps mentioned, even was able to create another account, but can’t proceed with the login of

my actual account. How to proceed? I don’t want to lose all my purchased games.

In my case, I was able to login into the xbox app, but the console isn’t listed there anymore, and I’m also unable to finish the setup via app as well...

We understand that you are trying to log into your account on Xbox X console and is unable to because it will just take you to your account and not to sign into your Xbox. Let us check on this together and sort this out in timely manner for you to get back to gaming.

This issue could mean that you might need to check your account profile update and secure it or else, we are having issues adding profile to your Xbox Console. However, in your isolated case, we’d like to know more about it in details so that we can provide a more accurate resolution for you. To start, please provide us information/answer on the following questions:

1. Is the account sign in for profile or to a specific game? Do you mind sharing a screenshot of the issue and please conceal any personal information like gamertag, email account and full name.
   
2. May we ask if you can try to sign into your account on this Microsoft account website and use your phone's browser - https://account.microsoft.com/
   
3. Have you tried to add another profile to the Xbox, see if the issue persists to another account.
   
4. What troubleshooting you have done so far?
   

So far, from the details you provided, you can try the following steps and let us know the result. You can just skip those you have done already.

Physically power cycle the Console:

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.
   
2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.
   

If you don't see the green boot-up animation when the console restarts, repeat these steps. Make sure that you hold the power button until the console completely shuts down.

Important If your console is in Sleep mode, the above steps will shut the console off completely. Sleep mode, or the ability to turn on your console by saying "Xbox on," won't be enabled until you restart the console.

Disconnect and reconnect the power cable

1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
   
2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
   
   Important Be sure to wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
   
3. Plug the console power cable back in.
   
4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.
   

Then, try to add a new profile:

You can add your profile to any Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One console. To do so:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
   
2. Select Profile & System > Add or switch > Add new.
   
3. Enter the email address for the Microsoft account that you want to add, and then select Enter.
   
   Important Make sure that you do not select Get a new account unless you want to create a new Microsoft account.
   
4. Enter the password for your Microsoft account, and then select Enter.
   
5. Review the Microsoft Service Agreement and Privacy Statement, and then select I Accept.
   
6. Follow the steps to configure your Sign-In, security & PIN preferences to finish adding your profile to the console.

Same problem here , I just bought my xbox today haven't played since PS4 came out and when I'm excited to play on my new system I cant even sign in to create a new profile since i cant remember my old 360 password, i remember when there was a "live" representative
you could talk to on the phone instead of constantly being redirected to a website when you had an issue with their products.
