Can't log into Minecraft

May we know what version of Minecraft you had purchased and/or showing into your account on Minecraft's website?

Would you mind telling me if your Microsoft account (that has game license for Minecraft) is the same with the account in PC Settings > Accounts? Or are there other Microsoft account linked to the account settings of your PC?

Is your Microsoft Store has same credentials with the one you use for the Minecraft Launcher?

Since you have mentioned not an old launcher issue, may we know if you install the game from Microsoft Store or Minecraft website?

Do we have antivirus, antimalware, VPN, firewall and PC Optimizer installed in PC? Would you mind disabling it and try again?

Lastly, may we know if you can sign in here with no issue - Microsoft Account | Home?

Please read my post again, I specifically mention that I have tried to click on sign in with Microsoft and that’s when I get the error.

I migrated to the Microsoft account and it won’t let me sign in now. I can’t even try it just gives me an error.

I just want to play Minecraft a game I’ve been playing since 2011.

From the Launcher log-in page, you have to hit the button to go back to the accounts page. But then, don't click on your existing account that you want to sign into or you will just get back into the same problem loop that won't let you sign in. You have to add a new account. It is counterintuitive because you are not actually setting up a new account. But once you click to add a new account you can choose to sign in with your Microsoft account in the Launcher. Once you do that, it will automatically use the Microsoft account to log you in from the Launcher.

If you still need help, I recommend contacting Mojang to find out what happened to your account migration process.

Xbox is having some server issues right now, which is most likely the root of your problem!

Minecraft uses the Xbox live in sign in, which is why you are unable to sign in!

Keep an out on Xbox Server Status for updates, or subscribe to the server notifications system to be notified when servers will go up! https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status

If servers go up, and this issue keeps happening, contact or reply and ill try to help you out once again in more detail!
