Can’t log into minecraft on PlayStation 5

Recently attempted to log into a Microsoft account on my PlayStation 5 but was met with a screen telling me that” oops looks like this account is already connected. Please sign in with your previously connected Microsoft account, cordedplayer668. But I dont have an account called cordedplayer and I’ve never connected a Microsoft account, however I did play mine raft on my old ps4 ages ago. But without a Microsoft account connected. Please help just spent 40 dollars for possibly nothing.

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that you have an existing Microsoft account that is linked to your PlayStation.

However, according to Minecraft's policy, once a Microsoft account has been linked to a PlayStation account, neither the Microsoft account nor the PlayStation Network account can be associated with a different account.

If you choose to unlink accounts, then purchases will be returned to the account which made the purchase. Even after unlinking, Microsoft and PlayStation accounts can only be re-linked to the original account. It cannot be unlinked without loss of access to entitlements and Minecoins on other platforms.

What you can do instead is to create a new PSN account where you could link your new Minecraft account.

Our minecraft keeps saying log into playstation account. It refuses to let anyone log in on the playstation.

you shouldnt have to buy the game again if your moving to ps5, that is just pure robbery.

No, if you purchase a Minecraft texture pack on the Bedrock version of the game for mobile devices, it will not transfer to your PlayStation 5 version of the game. Minecraft Bedrock and Minecraft on PlayStation 5 are separate versions of the game and are not cross-compatible in terms of purchases made through their respective digital marketplaces. You would need to purchase the texture pack separately on the PlayStation Store for it to be available on your PlayStation 5 version of the game.
