Can't Log Into Microsoft Account on Console – False "Already Linked" Error

Hey everyone,

I’ve played Minecraft for countless hours on console, but now I’m unable to log into my Microsoft account. I keep getting the error:

"Oops! Your Microsoft account is already logged in to another PSN account."

The problem is—this isn’t true. I only have one account, and it’s definitely not linked to any other PSN profile. I’ve purchased add-ons, Realms, and other content on this account, so losing access is really frustrating.

I’ve already tried:

Disabling cross-play

Clearing cache

Deleting certain game files

Checking both PSN and Microsoft account settings (no linked accounts show up)

Nothing works. Even worse, Microsoft and PlayStation support haven’t responded in months.

Has anyone else faced this issue? Are there any fixes I might have missed? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey Tadeu,

the problem is only happening on the console edition of minecraft. I can access the account via. computer normally, its only on the console where the problem lies.

I have to full error msg now, I'm able to login to Microsoft on any other device but not PS4 for some reason,

"Oops! Looks like the Microsoft account you are trying to use is already connected to another account on the "PlayStation Network"

Please sign in with a Microsoft account that is not already linked on

"PlayStation Network""

Is the error msg, I can't login with another because this is my only Microsoft account and idk how to logout with this one on playstation without knowing where it is logged into.

So your microsoft account is already logged into another Ubisoft account, friend.

Unfortunately, microsoft does not have access to Ubisoft system to verify this link, so any error that occurs in the link systems, only Ubisoft will have the chance to correct it :/

The error message it's because your Microsoft account has already been linked to a different Epic account not the epic account linked to a different Microsoft account, you can log in the Epic support using Microsoft login to find the account linked to your Microsoft account
