    Can't Log Into Account After Minecraft Account Migration


    I tried to migrate my Minecraft Mojang account to a Microsoft account, but I am now having issues signing in. Apparently Gmail accounts can be considered Microsoft accounts, so I tried to take this Minecraft account from an old Gmail account I didn't use anymore to my primary Gmail. Then, when I try signing in with the password I set up during migration, it says the account doesn't exist. So then I try the create new account on this Gmail, and it indicates it already exists as a Microsoft account. Minecraft support said to come to Microsoft support for account issues. I'm not really sure what to do at this point, and I've had this Minecraft account since 2010, so I would hate to lose it

    I'm logging in with my microsoft account, through the microsoft account log in.

    I've already migrated my account and it worked, because I played after it migrated. I've been having this issue after I changed to the new minecraft launcher they've released through the microsoft store, and I can't log in to Xbox Live through the Xbox app either.

    Hey, I can't log into minecraft after migrating my account to outlook.

    My issue is that when I was migrating, apparently I had a Microsoft account that shared the name and tag ofmy gmail account (*** Email address is removed for privacy *** for outlook) , and I was able to migrate it that way, but now I can't log in using that email anymore, and it's telling me to use my outlook account, even though I am.

    Is there a fix to this, or am I screwed?

    Not sure what changed in the last 20 or so minutes, but suddenly it's working.

    I have the same problem, I can log into Microsoft no problem but I cant get into Mojang and attempts to reset my password through them aren't going through.

    Hello @MINEz1! I hope that you are doing well today!

    The first thing I would suggest is to try log into your Microsoft account here: Microsoft Account just to make sure everything looks good there. If you are able to log in with no issues, then I would highly advise you to contact Mojang support for them to check your account.
