Cant log in with account

I atempt to log in to my xbox live with my microsoft account, only problem is, it says im a child, no big deal, look up how to change, change birth date, restart console, and try logging in again, but it still says im a child, i use a different account,
it prompts me to accept terms of use, i click it, it tells me to accept again, this happens one more time then asks me to log in to an account AGAIN, plz tell me fix, the console i am using is xbox one on the newest firmware

I'm not sure what happened here.

The way me and my friend did it as to not worry about passwords is to bring up your password change settings on phone or PC first. Then go to home console, enter his gamer tag and enter password. As soon as it logs his in, have friend apply his new password on phone or PC that you had setup first. Log friend account out. Log you back in. Have friend do same on his. As long as you change your password and as long as your account gets logged out of other console, your account cant be accessed without giving new password.

 

Live Account over 360 and Xbox One

Doesn't this work exactly the same way as PSN. It isn't your Xbox that has an account it is YOU the gamer have an XBL account.

YOU log into YOUR ACCOUNT on your XB360 and it works.

YOU log into YOUR ACCOUNT on another XB360 and it works

YOU log into YOUR ACCOUNT on XB1 and it works.

 

Sorry to hear it.

First off, for a child account. Once a birthdate has been entered it cannot be changed and the account must age normally.

For the second account having issues accepting the terms. This is a known issue that some have been able to work around by logging into this website with the tag and accepting the terms here.
