    I have two account, one for myself and one for my Son. For the last 3 days my son can't log in. He gets the same message. I have tried my xBox, my PC, 4 different browsers. Nothing works. Any ideas?

    Have the same issue. Totally unacceptable for a company like MS to have no access for a service we pay for this long of a period. The automated reply from support is "our software engineers is still working on this" and "hope for your kind consideration".

    I would really like to know how many people are affected by this. This is the only forum post ive seen for this issue.

    Must not be that many as it seems it not high priority and there is no status information reports in MS or Xbox.

    That is unacceptable to wait 72 hours. When the error is not caused by the customer. If you submit a support ticket the expectation to have an issue resoved in a reasonable time frame.

    Part of the problem is we can't log into the account at all, which means we can't turn off settings either. Like the OP states, most of us getting this error cannot log in on anything, computer, xbox or phone. I have tried logging into outlook.com, on
    the xbox, Microsoft store on my computer, I have used my phone that isn't on the same wifi network to log into microsoft.com.

    The problem with this unfortunately is that when I called the support for the same thing (I have to use a temporary account to log in here, because I cannot log into anything Microsoft right now), I was told the soonest anyone can respond is the 25th of
    March, which is 4 days from now. Many of us that use Microsoft accounts for work cannot typically go that long without resolution.
