Cant log in : Sing in is blocked. Someone has entered the wrong password too many times

I am sorry to hear that you are having issues accessing you account. We at this forum does not have access to make those changes, but i would recommend that you try to reset your password and make another, just to be sure.

Its says the account been blocked for 2 of the various reason. 1. Someone entered the wrong password too many times 2. If you signed through an orginization you might not be about to sign in. Then it leads me to the account recovery form.

ok the thing is if the form is no enough you should try to call microsoft, they will help you, i don't recommend using a chat on the website

No, sorry if there's a misunderstanding.

What i wish to do is to transfer my old Gamertag ( 4+ year old account) to a new WLID account that i created. I can still log into Xbox live from the Xbox console, however the system asks me to log in my old WLID password before i can make the WLID change,
but i can't since the account is locked.

The reason my old WLID got blocked was because apparently someone tried to log in too many times using a wrong password.

I am so sorry you are having issues getting into your families account.

A password attempt block can be temporary or permanent.

Sometimes, it can go away after waiting 24 hours. If there have been many attempts made onto the account (such as a tertiary brute force attack that has been occurring on the account) then it could be a permanent block that would need the main user to change the password.

You should wait sometime before trying again and seeing if you're still blocked!
