Can't log in on the multiplayer screen

I used to be online but then had a two year break. I haven't changed any settings so I can't see why it is doing this. I have just tried to load GTA5 and it said " your profile does not have the correct permissions to access xbox live functionality"

On the original email I was trying to load COD World at War

if you look at your account on xbox.com does it say that you currently have xbox live gold and an expiry date? just to show that is has applied it correctly?

DaveRutter, it might be that you have restrictions on your Xbox that doesn’t allow your account to play with other users, please tell me if not.

Tarnend - I have looked and the only subscriptions are from my old accounts. There is nothing regarding the new account. Is this anything to do with me purchasing it through CDKeys?

Thanks for your help Phil, but my main issue at the moment isn't that i can't access multiplayer in Minecraft, it's that I can't log into my box account on Xbox. If I was able to then I'd change the multiplayer setting. When i click on sign in on Xbox.com, i get immediately redirected to the support page instead pf the log in page but the support page doesn't load in, it just get stuck on the loading screen.
