Can't Log In (0x409) 0x80080005

Been trying to log in for days, I'v tried everything on this forum to fix this. I spent 5h trying to fix this, so far this app has been nothing but a waste of time.

Not able to sign into Xbox Windows 10 app at all. Did all advanced steps, uninstalled, reinstalled, made new local admin account, etc.

Haven't been able to sign into my Xbox on Windows 10 app since the last service outage. Was receiving the "0xbba" error, now receiving the error: "0x409 0x80080005". I've done all the Services -> Xbox -> change from Manual to Automatic, etc. PowerShell
commands all done, to no avail.

 

Hi EddieTreat, sorry to hear your experience issues with the app. Please try using the Xbox App Beta. It's currently running the latest version of the app. You can DL the app by going to the store and searching "Xbox App Beta". Let us know if the issue

Same here. Different code (0x409) 0x80070422 but same problem. A few weeks ago the app was running great. Now I can't access to the xbox app on win10. Can't launch any of my games at all (solitaire, forza apex, minecraft,)...so the result is that it's impossible
to enjoy any Microsoft games on my PC (core i7 3700k, GTX980ti 16gb ram)

This is quite a shame !!

The developers posted the following article about having issues signing in to the Xbox App. If you haven't referenced please try the scenarios to see if it may help with your issue. Let us know if the issue continues.

For an issue like this we need more data, if your able to submit a report via Xbox App Beta using the "Report a problem" that would be of great help to request an investigation. Let us know if you are able to report this issue or not. In the mean time I
have called this issue out in our reports to the developers so they are aware this issue is being observed by multiple users.
